The Food Page

Food Photography is a special skill, but there is also a lot of hype around the subject.   Producing quality pictures of food that reflect a personal touch rather than pictures bought from a ‘Stock’ site, is what a lot of people would like, but are often put off by the potentially high costs of professional studios.  On the other side of the coin there is a real danger in using mediocre pictures which can do more harm than good.  If you go to the trouble to source your own produce and take pride in what you have on your menu then it deserves to be showcased properly.

Excellent food photography can be done at a reasonable price, and the benefit of showing your own creations speaks for its self.  I did the following images on site with only the use of a couple of reflectors and bounce flash to help with lighting.  They were all used by top quality magazines in Spain.
